  This is so. I wonder, actually, how many 5th generation CA folks there are in general....
  Native Sons of the Golden West might give some ideas.
  I was told I was 5th gen for many years, and only recently found out that in fact, I'm a 4th gen. 4th gen San Franciscan, at that. At the same time, my daugher is 5th gen California, and 1st gen American, all at once, her dad being Aussie.
  So.
  Fascinating eh?
  So where were you guys born?
